The Gold Leaf Project is a not-for-profit public art initiative whose mission is to advance artistic expression and appreciation, while strengthening the connection between the two great cities of San Diego and Tijuana. The project's creative premise is simple: install vintage gold frames in public spaces and populate them with modern street art. This creates a juxtaposition of classic, reclaimed art frames with the urban edginess and social messaging of street culture. The idea is to lose the physical border and celebrate public art together. L.W.P. Group will commission artists' and muralists' participation throughout the project and later distribute the pieces throughout both cities. We hope that with more public art, there will be more public beauty.
For those creative minds out there, we invite you to collaborate with us in a not-so-traditional way. Our space is your blank canvas to easily transform for photo shoots, weddings, private parties, product launches, corporate events, or any type of celebration - accessorize to your satisfaction.
We are committed to providing an eclectic experience that is unique to your event. Concrete floors, wooden walkways, steel shipping containers, stained glass, a modernized cabana, rolling back gate, and innovative art will highlight your occasion in a contemporary light.

Featured Artist Victor was born and raised in Tijuana, Mexico; a place he takes immense pride in
and feels the greatest sense of belonging. It is through his cross hatching style
and unique subjects that Victor reveals his perspective; Tijuana being a completely
different world. He hopes that for a local it will bring them that same sense of pride
that he feels, and for others it will make them eager to visit these monuments and
learn about his distinguished culture. “I want people to know this place,” he said.
